This should be called "The day you watched this movie and time stood still!" Keanu Reeves plays a zero personality monotone alien really well, but I expected him to throw a "DUDE!" from Bill & Teds in there just to liven things up a bit (No such luck) This movie has one of those underlying political / environmental statements, and these aliens aren't related to Marvin the Martian or ET! Humans are messy, dirty, and destroying the earth Have they ever met Bella, she leaves her toy's everywhere, and Hank flips his dry food all over the kitchen!) Anyways, aliens are here to save the earth by getting rid of the humans (no mention of dogs here, I guess we were one of the good guys with the rest of the critters) Anyways, a few chase scenes, some long winded environmental stuff and suddenly Keanu's alien dude thinks humans aren't so bad (go figure, since we don't have poseable thumbs we dogs need them to open the boxes of dog bones you idiots!) Anyways, he decided to turn off the human extermination think. VIOLA! happily ever after.
The most exciting part of the movie is when a bee landed on the couch near mom (she's allergic to them) and she half gainer, summer salted off yelling for dad to kill it....3 solid bones for the flip mom did....but only one bone for the movie.
