Farah and Michael are gone, and the world mourns!!!

oh THE TRAGEDY!!! I have been so busy since Michael Jackson's passing and Farah Fausetts memorial, I just haven't had time to share all my thoughts and ideas with those of you who have been waiting to hear my thoughts and ideas!!!

Let me tell you, Farah had AMAZING HAIR..I mean, right up to the end there, never a lock out of place! I had mom order all her old movies and Charlies Angels episodes for me on Netflix, it seemed the fitting memorial. I sat there, practicing my hair flip all weekend in front of the tv. Roo tried to watch wrestling a few times, but for god sake!! Have you no respect for the dead!! Go into dads game room to watch that ruffian crapola!~! Now, I have managed the hair flip fairly well, and I went out and got some red banded knee socks and rad piped short gym shorts (mom says they were all the rage in the 70's) I've gotten a few looks while we are walking the neighborhood, and I am SURE everyone is just scandalized that they didn't think of such a great tribute to a human with such a nice coat of hair! Now if I can just get mom to agree to let me get those hair extension, my hair flip will look PERFECT! We have the same great sable blonde hair color you know? I wonder who her stylist was, and if he has an opening now?

Now Michael, Michael, Michael....*sigh. His fashion sense was well thought out (minus the pj's and sport coat he wore to court a few years back...not the time for spider man jammy bottoms Mike!~) his makeup was interesting, his music was UNREAL! And now, MY GAWD! I have to say his decorating ability was OUTSTANDING! All the gold statues and everything in his house, so over the top, it was magnificent! Mom says totally nonfunctional, and a bitch to dust it all, but HEY!! I can appreciate it! Plus it's called HIRED HELP MOM!!!!! *scoff like he would pick up a swifter with all the money he has! I tried to schedule a tribute concert at the locale stadium, but the Amplitheater was booked with Kid Rock or something (*ick) and the football stadium just didn't seem appropriate for such a feminine star such as Michael, although from what I have heard, he would appreciate a finely muscle butt in tight pants as much as the next!!! I decided that I wasn't getting enough support for the tribute concert, so I will just mourn him in my own special way. Mom and dad didn't think that starting voice lessons now would help a few weeks down the road for the concert (have they no faith in their golden child!!! ME!!!!) Dad also axed the billboard rental on I-75. I just wanted a shot of me, in my little black dress, looking as perfectly quaffed as I always do with "Lulu will miss you Michael...I was your biggest fan". There was 3 billboards, I bet I could have gotten the price down to a few hundred dollars a piece. I thought it would have been worth it to see me 20 feet tall 50 feet up. What's a few thousand dollars to expose the world to me!!! I proposed this at the dinner table, of course these little heathens here all started yelling Godzilla and making cheesy Japanese movie references when dad asked why the world needed to see a 20 foot version of me since the real one was much cuter. *sigh...I don't get anywhere near the respect I deserve around here. I know mom and dad love me, and support me in whatever, but these larger endeavors they really need to fork over the check book!!!!

I am devoting a chapter in my book to Michael's music and Farah's hair, and how it has influenced a generation, and more importantly, how it has influenced me. May they both rest in peace, and may their hair never frizz, they never have a wardrobe malfunction, and may they always be able to moonwalk even on gritty concrete. Good Bye style icons! LuLu will miss you!! Save me a place at the big hair salon in the sky, they have got to have better shampoo girls than we have here!
~Lulu
