The movie was Lakeveiw Terrace...gorgeous scenery, and Kerry Washington wasn't bad either!! It starts out with a mixed race couple (like a cat and a dog) moving to a nice neighborhood with a neurotic and prejudice cop (Samuel Jackson-like he was animal control or something) living next door. Racial under and over tones occur with lots of action and make us think "Can't we just all get along!". This movie was enough to make anyone move out into the middle of no where with no neighbors in sight. Samuel Jackson was the neighbor from hell. My biggest issue with this film is everyone is so worried about security against the bad guys and each other, but no one had a dog!!! I feel that the real prejudice here was that no one had pets. Samuels 2 kids didn't even have a fish or a hamster! This was supposed to be LA- We need to REPRESENT DAWGS~! Anyways, for action and originality I gave it 2 bones. Some of the stuff was a bit extreme, but I could see how humans could let things escalate. Y'all just need to share some greenies and sniff more butts. This movie gets 2 bones.
